The short version

This site collects your email address if you hand it over, and nothing else. There is no account to make, no login, and no comment section.

The newsletter

If you join Baku Mail, your email address is stored with the service that sends it. It is used to send you the things you signed up for and nothing more. It is never sold, rented or passed to anyone else. Every email has an unsubscribe link and it works immediately.

Analytics

Basic, aggregate traffic figures are collected by the host: how many people visited, which pages, roughly where in the world. It is counting, not tracking. No profile is built about you as an individual.

Buying things

Books are sold by Amazon, and signed copies by Etsy. When you follow one of those links you are on their site under their privacy policy, not this one. No payment details are ever handled here.

Cookies

This site sets no advertising or tracking cookies of its own.

Your rights

You can ask what is held about you, ask for it to be corrected, or ask for it to be deleted. Email reed@rlwestgate.com and it gets done. No form, no ticket number.

Children

These books are written for adults. The site is not directed at children and does not knowingly collect anything from them.

Changes

If this policy changes in a way that matters, the date at the top changes with it.
